option trade alertsMany of our subscribers would like some commentary on our wins and losses. This entry is the second in our new series to give the masses what they want…

CREE:

We ended the month with a nice gain on this position. There wasn’t much to say about this position other than it played out how we expected. So we ended the month net positive on these positions.

DNDN:

This position was positive for almost all of the time in which we held it. However, just before expiration the security dipped and went through our threshold. We had no choice but to buy the puts, because this security was still showing signs of weakness. Although we made a minuscule profit on this position, our gains would have been alot more significant, had the security not shown weakness with the entire market.

MSTR:

MSTR was a more than a surprise! This security was the only reason for our first loss, EVER!!!!! We didn’t expect to have such a loss on this position! Our strategy is second to none, but this position brought us back down to earth. We realize that no matter how good we think that this or any strategy appears to be, there are always going to be some deficiencies. We take solace in knowing that the strategy has performed well in every situation, and this month is more of an aberration!

WYNN:

This position performed exactly how we expected! We had already gotten out of the upper arm of the condor in the previous month for a significant profit, so this was just the finalization of an excellent trade. We ended with a good profit on the lower arm of the condor, and a good profit on the spread. We love it when a plan comes together!

That’s all the commentary for now, till next month’s expiration!
