5 Characteristics of Successful Traders…
Do you know what makes a successful trader?
Here are 5 Characteristics whih you should strive to have:
1) Successful traders are prepared. Having a clearly define trading plan is of utmost importance. Too many traders make it up as they go along.
You should have a written plan of what you want to buy and why, when you want to buy with clearly defined triggers, when you will take profits, and when to cut our losses.
The first set of rules which you develop are the easiest to follow.
We usually have trouble with the last one, which is when to cut our losses.
We plan everything! We leave nothing to chance! We have a regimented schedule, and we stick to the plan all the way through!
2) Successful Traders remain emotionally detatched. Once you enter a trade, are you willing to forget about it until your pre-determined exit strategy is met?
Well we are! Or let me rephrase that; once we have put in our trades, and put in our contingent orders, we simple forget about that position until if our contingency is met.
See, we have no need to monitor these positions unless something drastic happens. Now since we are all HUMANS, we will review our positions, however it is simply to determine if we want to take profits, or to ensure an order was filled.
Anything else is just an exercise in futility, and can even be dangerous when you see a position losing ground and use your emotions to guide your decisions.
3) Successful Traders take a longer term view. Everyone wants to make a million in a day! This is achievable, but not with us!
We take a longer term view, and we will help you make that million, but it will take just a little longer.
No one has a monopoly on ideas. What works for some, may not work for others. We simply try to use the system that’s already in place to generate premiums on a consistant basis!
4) Successful option traders expect to become rich. Lets face it, you trade because you expect to make a better return than anyone else.
However, to be successful, you must trade like you mean it! What do we mean by this? Well you must trade like your entire survival depended on it!
Never be cavalier with your money! You worked hard enough for it, so make sure it remains with you for as long as possible and produces many ofspring!
Expect great returns, and do everything within your power to achieve it! Read all the publications, take the extra courses, find a good alert service (Like ours:), and translate this into an empire!
5) Successful traders make things happen. Go after what you want; don’t let anything stand in your way! The sky is the limit! You can be a successful trader!
Forget everything which you have learned and realize that there is a better way! There are people making some serious money in this game, and you can be one of them!
